NPM has an active PhD scholarship award programme. PhD scholarship research is tied to the outcomes of our Pae and Pātai and support is provided by our Pae, Pātai and Rautaki leaders to ensure scholars are valued, well supported, and provided with excellent scholarly advice, professional development opportunities and guidance. We will provide scholarship support to 10 PhD scholars expecting completion in 2024. We will also offer a small number of doctoral finishing scholarships to those who do not receive support from elsewhere. NPM facilitates opportunities for Māori and Pacific post-graduates to come together and actively encourages them to participate in professional excellence and Te Kupenga o MAI activities.
