This rapid review provides an annotated bibliography of research undertaken on the responses and impacts of natural disasters both in New Zealand and internationally. It is sectioned into literature from researchers within New Zealand, research specific to Māori experiences; Christchurch earthquakes, displacement and international research with a focus on Māori, indigenous and minority group perspectives. The review is a ‘starter’ for those considering the impact and consequences of disasters for Māori.
