This internship focused on global efforts by First Nations and Indigenous peoples to decolonise and re-indigenise child protection systems.

This internship compiled a bibliography of politics research by kairangahau Māori, supporting more inclusive and responsive political studies in Aotearoa.
Guided by a multidisciplinary rōpū, interns built research skills and helped shape future pathways for Māori in politics and policy.

This project investigated how Māori values underpinning the Māori economy can be theorised and applied to enhance community wellbeing. By stocktaking existing literature and engaging across sectors, the researchers built a Māori-led theory of value grounded in tikanga and Indigenous epistemologies.
