Matire Harwood (Ngāpuhi) is the Manukura Rua/Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.

A Kaupapa Māori clinical academic, Matire teaches MBChB Years 4 to 6, supervises postgraduate students, and leads clinical and qualitative research with a focus on managing long term conditions in the community.
