Hāpai te Hauora: Breathing your ancestors back into life

About this research

Intern: Kelly Wilson, Massey University

Supervisor: Dr Teah Carlson, Massey University

Hāpai te Hauora: Breathing your ancestors back into life investigates the way rangatahi Māori understand, engage, heal and reconnect with the natural world in response to climate impacts and environmental challenges facing the East Coast.

The focus of the project was to co-create and develop creative stories- pūrākau, that reflect the lived experiences of climate impacts from the perspective of rangatahi and whānau participants.
